My Official #1 Favorite Year Round Fragrance From Estee Lauder!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the regional Estee Lauder Fall Seminar. Estee Lauder is one of the few cosmetics companies out there still funding and focusing on educating all of its employees to the latest and greatest products and the technology and application techniques behind each one (one of the many reasons, I am so proud to be working for them as a Regional Makeup Artist). As a result, the Beauty Advisors at your local Estee Lauder makeup counters truly are all knowledgeable and can tell you the key ingredients in every moisturizer etc, and why it is best for your skincare concern. One of the other BIG reasons why I LOVE seminars so much, is all of the SWAG we get! :) It's even more fun for me, because I get to share it all with you in advance!

Let me start by saying that Estee Lauder Fragrance has never been my strongest "sales" piece at the counters I travel to. I can sell it based on what YOU usually love and wear, but I haven't had that "check out what I'm wearing! Don't you love it?!" moment, with the exception being our incredible Bronze Goddess scent, only available in the Summer. A couple of weeks ago, my August edition of Cosmopolitan came in the mail, and I got a whiff of the new Sensuous Nude... I liked how it smelled, but when I got my travel size yesterday and sprayed it on....Oh boy, was I in love!!

   Here is the official poster:

To give you an idea what it smells like, think Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly collection..BUT BETTER! I've already tried it out for the hubby, and got two thumbs up. :) I don't know what I'll do when this little bottle runs out, because the big guys don't even hit the counter yet. :'(

Be jealous. Buy some! It's amazing!

Here's some of the other really fun stuff that I got, and am so excited to review for you guys..

L-R (New Signature Service Menu, Sensuous Nude!, Newly Formulated Resilience Lift, Advanced Night Repair, **Newly Formulated Lip & Eye color**=LOVE) Also, the necklace pictured holds the Sensuous Nude fragrance. Can't wait to wear! :)

What I'm Loving Right Now - Hairtrition Review!

Okay, so first off, let me just say that while I am a Professional Makeup Artist, I am NOT all knowledgeable when it comes to hair products. I have been coloring my hair at the salon though for almost ten years now, and I've usually gone with what the stylist recommended. I had the opportunity to try Enjoy products about a year ago, but the price tag was a little steep, considering I like investing my hard earned cash in more MAKEUP! lol. One of the things I liked most about it though was that it was sulfate-free and made my hair feel so soft and silky.

While back home in Florida last month, I stopped into Sally Beauty Supply looking to try something new. I was perusing when I came across "Hairtrition"... The packaging was really eye-catching, because it looked just like a nutrition label, and who doesn't want "healthy" hair?! The smell was a little fruity and reminded me of Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Shampoo. It was also sulfate-free and promised to keep my color 66% longer. At around $9 a bottle, I figured I would give the formula for color treated hair a try, so I picked up the combo.

Within just a couple of days, I noticed a dramatic difference in the look and feel of my hair.  Having both long and color treated hair, I have always hated combing through it after a shower because of tangles. Now, it is the easiest thing in the world! I will definitely be purchasing again. I honestly can't decide which I like better, Enjoy or Hairtrition, but I'm leaning towards Hairtrition. Try it out!
